“I started with Misawa in 1988 and have now been with the company for 36 years. My first job was in sales. I sold our homes based out of the Shonan Sales Centre, which is located about 20 km south-west of Tokyo city. After my time in sales, I moved onto residential land development in Tokyo, and then later spent some time in Nagoya doing the same. After many years in developments, I was called upon by the International Business Division to oversee our efforts to invest in Australia. The project I am most proud of is my involvement in the merger with Homecorp Constructions, which heralded Misawa’s first foray into homebuilding overseas. One thing I would like to achieve is to bring new value to the owners and occupants of the homes we provide in the Australian market.”
