Greenlight: Cienna Varsity Ridge Stage Two
The hotly-anticipated stage two of Cienna Varsity Ridge has officially been given the go ahead by the Gold Coast City Council, paving the way for the next phase of this inspiring project in the heart of Varsity Lakes.
The DA approval of stage two will bring forth 289 apartments across two 12- and 14-storey towers, with a collection of one, two and three-bedroom residences, carefully curated alongside generous open-living spaces designed to aid community connection.
After careful consideration of community and council feedback, Homecorp submitted a DA amendment to adjust the height of the proposed development from 16 storeys to 14.
The amended proposal also saw an increase in apartment dwellings from the earlier approved 188 to 289, set to bring much-needed affordable housing to the Gold Coast’s booming property market.
Homecorp: Community Parking Incorporated Into New Design
The amended plans include a surplus of 20 carparks above planning code for residents and visitors. In addition to these surplus carparks, a further 24 car parking spaces have been added to the masterplan for public use.

Homecorp: Delivering Amenities For Residents
The project features a range of lifestyle amenities for residents to enjoy, including a large swimming pool, a gym, cafes, a dog off-leash park area, lush gardens, communal dining spaces, rooftop areas and local retail stores. Each apartment will also include car parking spaces and access to bike parks.
Construction is set to begin in early 2025 and will be delivered by Homecorp’s new multi-residential construction arm, who will also be undertaking all of the company’s multi-residential projects.
Cienna Varsity Ridge Stage One
Stage one of Cienna Varsity Ridge wrapped up construction in mid-2023, with the 257 one and two-bedroom apartments in high demand. The development has been popular with residents, investors and owner-occupiers alike.
